About the project
We are thrilled to present to you the Community Hub at the heart of Leicester - an ambitious yet unique undertaking creating a space for wellbeing, celebration, and heritage.
Housed in the former HSBC bank, the Community Hub will rejuvenate and transform this Victorian gem of a building, built in 1874 by the architectural genius of Joseph Goddard. The Community Hub will blend the historical reverence of the building while addressing modern community needs.
The Hub is in the development phase, undergoing community consultation, planning and with fundraising efforts underway.

By offering a wide range of wellbeing services, lifestyle improvement programmes, alongside spaces for cultural events, heritage and exhibitions, the hub aims to be the catalyst for positive change in the community, promoting a sense of belonging for all.
The Community Hub will encompass three core pillars.
Each will contribute to the holistic development of Leicester community:
Wellbeing Hub:
A welcoming space fostering physical and mental wellbeing in the heart of Leicester for Leicester residents, students, and professionals.
Tailored programmes, including meditation and mindfulness sessions, healthy living seminars, yoga classes, and wellness retreats.
Nutritious meals for people in need
Celebration Venue:
A versatile venue for community celebrations and events.
Available for cultural festivals, concerts, conferences, art exhibitions, seminars, weddings and more.
Historic setting offering a unique backdrop for memorable events, making every gathering special.
Heritage Preservation:
Dedicated space preserving the rich architectural legacy of Joseph Goddard.
Showcasing Goddard's iconic designs such as our own building, Clock Tower and his other architectural masterpieces in Leicester.
Engaging exhibits, guided tours, and educational programs to enrich the understanding of Goddard’s contribution to Leicester's history.
